"The Sunshine" Restaurant & Bar offers a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable setting. Guests are greeted with quality service and a smile, and have the opportunity to dine on some of the finest cuisine to be found anywhere. The menu selection is based on the flavorful fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats and cheeses of the country.

Each day local fishermen deliver their catch and our chefs prepare the "Fruits of the Sea" to perfection. House specials include crab and BBQ jumbo shrimp - with that special Malagasy touch.

The large thatch-roofed restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a superb meal, and a wondrous sunset over the Mozambique Channel. Our full service bar features Gerard's famous Coco Rum, a variety of local libations and Morondava's widest selection of imported whisky and scotch.

Local dhow sail boats are available for hire and the water is warm, just right for swimming and body surfing. Or you may prefer to lounge by the pool, stroll to the market, and end your day enjoying a cool drink with the setting sun.
