These marvellous surroundings define most the ambience of the place. It is in this peaceful atmosphere that La Plantation’s eight acres are found. Around its huge pool, nature competes of exotic fragrances spread out in the middle of its 4000 m2 water basins, where palm trees, coconut trees, bougainvilleas plants and tropical flowers, one more beautiful than the other are blended. Its beach on the border of the lagoon welcomes you to sunbathe or to enjoy candlelight dinner, with your feet in the sand. The Dolphin Spa, a balneotherapy centre, gives you a sensation of well being, with its revitalizing treatments. Entertainment and good living are prolonged at the end of the evening at the discotheque, entirely renovated in 2004, with the restaurants, the lobby and the gardens.

All our rooms are air conditioned. They are spread over 2 storeys of the main building and in villas in the middle of a tropical garden. The rooms have the same equipment of comfort: mini bar, television, with 3 local channels and 8 satellite channels, direct telephone line, individual safe, bath room with bathtub and hair dryer and separate toilet. Some of the rooms are comunicating.

They are classified in 5 categories

The 157 standard rooms of 64 m2 have a king size (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are all facing the garden. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years.
The 80 privilege rooms of 72 m2 or de 64 m2 (30 units) have a king size bed (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are either facing the garden or the ocean. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years.
Extras: Bathrobe, beach towels, electric kettle, tea and coffee facilities.
The 26 family rooms of 72 m2 have a room with a king size bed for the parents and a room with a bunk-bed for the children. They are either facing the Citron River or the pool. Children less than 12 years old are free of charge on half board.
The 7 suites with view on the Citron River have a surface area of 120 m2. The have a room with a king size bed (2m x 2m), a room for the children with two separate beds, two bathrooms and two separate toilets.

La Plantation » hotel has three restaurants. The guests on half board are welcomed at
« Domaine des épices » restaurant for dinner. They have access to the two other restaurants where they will benefit of a credit of 400 Mauritian rupees per person.

From 5h30 to 7h00, a continental breakfast is served, especially for the business clientele.

From 7h00 to 10h00 breakfast is served in the form of an international buffet.

« Le Cylo » is in the middle of the pools, facing the dance floor and the band. It is the main bar of the hotel. It is opened everyday from 10h00 to midnight. You may enjoy sandwiches and salads for lunch. Discover the tropical cocktails of the island during the aperitif. It is the place to be if you wish to participate to the entertainment and games organised, and to watch the fashion and folkloric shows.

Le Colonial »
« Le Colonial » is opened everyday from 10h00 to 23h00 on the first floor, next to the shop. This discreet bar is a place of serenity and relaxation for those who wish to enjoy peaceful moments.

Set up over 326 m2, the health center of the Plantation hotel allow you to discover a wide variety of personalized treatments, based on a philosophy issued from the Chinese and Indian medicines which consider the body in its physical and energetic aspect. This principle lies on the law of the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and water) and on the principle of the Yin and the Yang.

It uses namely the chromo therapy, an advance technique, which utilizes the combination of the colors of raw materials and the color of light to search in a selective manner the great energetic functions of the body:
