Of course there is also the spa that gave its name to Bad Sauerbrunn. The spring has healing qualities and a high content of minerals and trace elements. It has been known for hundreds of years and was made accessible to the public during the last century. The water in the thermal spring has invigorating properties and among many other minerals it contains the highest magnesium content in Austria.

For day trips there are many worthwhile destinations in the surrounding area: The Neusiedlersee Lake, Forchtenstein Castle, Eisenstadt, Wiener Neustadt and the mountains.
