Heutal is the starting point for a variety of sports and leisure activities. Surrounded by an imposing mountain scenery, the climatically favored high plateau has a lot to offer to its visitors. To name just one: mountain biking from beginner to professional level. We ourselves are enthusiastic mountain bikers and will be glad to help and advice you in planning tours, performing repair work and transporting luggage.

We are located approx. 1 hour away from the Winkelmoosalm approx.: 2 hours from Ruhpolding , 4 hours from the Sonntagshorn, 4 hours from the Loferer Alm, 4 hours from the Steinplatte. These are just a few destinations among many others.
Water Sports:
The Saalach is one of the most beautiful mountain rivers in the western part of Austria. This is just one of the reasons why the world champion ships for canoe and white water rafting have been held in this location. The river offers something for everyone - for the beginner as much as for "dare devil's" and professionals. Children will talk about the exciting pirate excursions for years to come.

Our Inn is located approx. 500 m near the ski lifts. Cross country tracks start directly in front of the Inn. The ski school office offers a large variety of courses and equipment and is located within walking distance. Ski sport at the Heutal means alpine skiing, snow boarding, with a total of 3 ski lifts situated in an area that has been gently adapted to the natural environment. This is the perfect place for your family vacation.
