The hotel is in the centre of the city of Olomouc, at the corner of the Pavelcákova street and the Svoboda avenue. If you go by car, the most suitable access roads are in the distance from Prague on the motorway D1 to Brno and from there on the road E 464 to Olomouc. The hotel GEMO is the dominaning feature when coming to the historical centre of Olomouc.If you go from Ostrava or Ceský Tešín, go on the road E 462, direction Olomouc. At access to Olomouc, follow the traffic sign CENTRUM /Centre of the City/ which goes to us. Both access roads are pointed out in the map comprising also the schematic localization of historical monuments of the City of Olomouc.

Hotel interior (designed by the architect Eugen Tocík) is made only from natural materials. The original furniture from rare veneer (African cherry tree, African root trees) in secession-like style, carpets, pavement and other decorations completed with art works of Moravian artists present an exceptional atmosphere of the hotel combining the history and the present time.This booklet illustrates the interior of the hotel GEMO.

The hotel offers accommodation in two large apartments (52 to 57 m2 ) of superior class, four two-bed rooms LUX (27 to 39 m2 ) of superior class, and twenty two two-bed rooms (20 to 28 m2 ), and five one-bed rooms (16 to 21 m2 ).

All rooms and apartments have a no-barrier access, athrooms with shower and tub, toilets, online telephone, satellite TV, icebox, drinks cabinet. All rooms offer the possibility to use a fixed Internet connection tree of charge. The majority of rooms are air-conditioned. Quite normal is the room service and provision with a videorecorder or DVD at the hotel reception desk.
