Fortuna Boathotel and Restaurant is reachable in 15 minutes from all the significant stations of Budapest
and from all the international bus-stations.
The airport is situated only 40 minutes far from us.

The trolleybus-stop at Szent Istvan Park of trolleybuses number 76 and 79, and the tram-stop at Jaszai Mari Square of trams number 2, 4 and 6 also help the easy traffic.
In 2000 it went through a complete redevelopment, in which motors were removed and now in their places the pub can be found. In the other side of the hulk 14 rooms with washbasin got into build-up, which common shower and toilets belong to.

Our hotel has 44 rooms equipped with bathroom (with shower), TV (with satellite programs), telephone, mini bar.
4 rooms of them are superior category, which means that a living room and a balcony belong to them.

The boat is completely air-conditioned; every unit’s temperature can be individually stalled.

One of our specialities is that each room is named after a famous traveller, sailor or pirate.

One of the floors was built for especially for the young people,
where 14 rooms (29 beds) equipped with washbasin and common shower are available.

Our boat is a member of the Hungarian Youth Hostel Association since 2001,
which means the location meet all of the international requirements, regulations/instructions.

In the air-conditioned, tarnished Lord Nelson Restaurant of the boat from September until June and in case of bad weather in the summertime guests can choose among the chef’s offers.

In good weather, from June until September we wait for you to our Cocktail- and Grill Terrace on board, where you can enjoy taste of the Danube bank accompanied by a fabulous panorama.

In our restaurant and on the grill terrace alike we ensure background music.
The Fortuna standing boat stands at anchor on Pest side of the capital, some minutes from the Parliament,opposite the Margaret Island, in front of the Szent Istvan Park with a wonderful view of Fisherman Bastion and Buda Castle.

On the main board the reception, the exclusive Lord Nelson Restaurant, the Siren Café and an elegant meeting room (cigar saloon) can be found. An apartment, additionally 12 air-conditioned rooms with shower, TV with satellite programs, mini bar and telephone are located also on this floor. Actually the first floor is the level of the hotel with 32 rooms equally equipped like rooms on the mentioned main board. 4 rooms of them are superior category. This level has a terrace in U-form, from where you can reach the Grill- and Cocktail Terrace.

We would like to build our return especially on the holiday and the conference tourism. Our comfortable rooms, the romantic environment, the unique panorama to the one of World Heritages Sites, further more the central located give us a lot of advantages for tourists stayed in Budapest and guests took part in our organizations.

The Boat is exceedingly convenient for conveying, trainings, meetings, wedding days, familiar events, in addition we accept sightseeing groups for lunch or dinner. By our party service we undertake/take on transaction of outdoor organizations as well.
