A small centrally located Boutique-Hotel in a family atmosphere with individually designed rooms, suites and spa services. Hotel Janus can be found in the heart of Siófok, 100 metres from the railway station, 500 metres from the Beach on the Main Street. The hotel inherited its unique look from the historical past of the building with the help of the designer during reconstruction. The famous Hungarian architect, Makovecz Imre - who designed several churches and the Hungarian pavilion at the 1992 Seville World Exhibition - renewed the building, which used to give home to an old Lutheran chapel and a former school. The building is a unique example of the organic style architecture connected to the early 20th century but preserves its old characters. The name of the hotel - from the mythology - points to the difference between the Southern-and Northern facade, that symbolises the link between the embodied past and the future, the building has plenty of interesting architectural items, it is characterised by atriums, spacious areas and rich woodwork.
